#BlackComicsMonth – April 14th – Blacks in Comics – Princeless: The Pirate Princess #3

Tomorrow is New Comic Book Day and as you already know BlackComicsMonth and VixenVarsity will be bringing you titles that are either written, drawn, colored by talented black men and women in the comic book industry PLUS comic books that feature black characters. This morning we have one of my FAVORITE series published by Action Lab Comics, written by Jeremy Whitley with art from Rosy Higgins and Ted Brandt. Princeless: The Pirate Princess.

I was introduced to the original Princeless series late last year and fell in love with it since. Princeless is about a beautiful black Princess named Adrienne who doesn’t need no stinking Prince to rescue her. She can do it herself! The Princeless TPB is available on Amazon for under $11!

Check out previous previews of Princeless: The Pirate Princess here, and peep issue #3 below.
